That’s why we take the time to provide meticulous, personalised, and evidence-based cancer advice for every case—never just another number. Our reports are renowned for their detail and personalised recommendations, empowering veterinarians to deliver the highest standards of care.

What Makes Us Unique
Credentials:
Dr. Cat Chan is the only veterinary oncologist worldwide to be board-certified by both the American (ACVIM) and Australian (ANZCVS) colleges, having completed specialist training in both countries.
Experience and Expertise:
With over 13 years of specialist experience, Dr. Chan is known for her meticulous, evidence-based, and compassionate approach, and her commitment to continuing education for the veterinary community.
Thorough & Personalised Care:
Each case receives a detailed review and a tailored, written consultation report. We take pride in providing a thorough report, picking up subtle details, and offering personalised recommendations based on each pet, vet, and owner’s circumstances—empowering vets to deliver the best possible care.
Veterinary-Only Service:
Our services are exclusively for veterinarians. We do not provide direct advice to pet owners, as we believe the best outcomes are achieved through collaboration with your trusted veterinary team, who can provide physical care for the pet.
Resources, Supplies & Ongoing Support:
We offer online chemotherapy consumable packs, selected oral chemotherapy medications at reduced rates, and assistance sourcing anti-cancer drugs and supplies—so you can focus on your patients, wherever you are in the world. Our strong collaborative relationships with veterinary industry partners, suppliers, and other specialists worldwide set us apart.
Education-Focused:
We provide Client Handouts, Chemotherapy Drug Information Sheets, Chemotherapy Protocols, Chemotherapy Training Manuals, Free CPD Webinars, and In-Person, Hands-On Clinical Training and Workshops for veterinarians, nurses and students.

About Dr. Cat Chan
I graduated in 2009 from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. My career began with a small animal rotating internship at Veterinary Specialist Services in Brisbane, followed by work in small animal emergency and general practice. In 2012, I moved to Sydney to complete a three-year veterinary oncology residency at the Animal Referral Hospital in Homebush. I have since worked at several specialist referral hospitals in Brisbane, and have spent time in the USA at the University of Missouri and Colorado State University.
I am the only veterinary oncologist worldwide to be board-certified by both the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) and the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). I am passionate about research and have contributed over 11 peer-reviewed publications, including a chapter in Ettinger’s Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine. My work has been recognised with several research awards, and I remain dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of cancer in pets.
Cancer is a challenging diagnosis for pets and their families. My top priority is to provide the best possible evidence-based and compassionate recommendations for every case, always striving to improve remission and survival while maintaining the highest quality of life for each patient.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my three young children, two cats, a much-loved chicken, and sometimes, my husband Alan. Balancing a busy career with my family keeps me grounded and inspired.
