The Pet Oncologist team

Personalised, Compassionate Oncology Support for Veterinarians

At The Pet Oncologist, we understand that every cancer case is unique—and so are the needs of every veterinary team and their patients. Our mission is to empower veterinarians with thorough, evidence-based, and compassionate advice, so you can deliver the very best care to animals with cancer, no matter where you are.

We are a family-owned, independent consultancy led by Dr. Cat Chan, the only veterinary oncologist worldwide to be board-certified by both the American (ACVIM) and Australian (ANZCVS) colleges, having completed specialist training in both countries. With over 13 years of specialist experience, Dr. Chan is known for her meticulous, personalised approach, her commitment to education, and her unwavering support for veterinary colleagues.
