65-minute voice-recorded PowerPoint presentation on how to approach a cat with a gastrointestinal mass.

As a veterinarian, you will be presented with a cat with a gastrointestinal mass.

This presentation will start with a clinical case example, to help you approach a cat with a gastrointestinal mass.

The primary focus of this presentation will be on the cancer biology, prognosis, diagnostics, and treatment options for the three most common gastrointestinal cancers in cats (lymphoma, adenocarcinoma and mast cell tumours). Other diseases (such as polyps), and less common gastrointestinal cancers (such as carcinoids, sarcomas and plasma cell tumours), will also be discussed. There will also be some ‘What is your diagnosis’ questions, on some gastrointestinal tumours in cats.

Vets that will likely benefit most from this presentation are primary care and specialist veterinarians who wish to learn more about how to approach a cat with a gastrointestinal mass, in everyday clinical practice.

Upon completion, an online quiz can be taken (unlimited attempts) by clicking here. Feedback will be provided after the quiz. A CPD certificate equivalent to 1 structured CPD point (as per the AVA VetEd Points) is available for this presentation. Please email The Pet Oncologist after passing the quiz.
